SUIT FOR DECLARATION DECLARING THAT LAND MEASURING
13.37 ACRES OF KATRA KESHAV DEV VEST IN THE DEITY LORD
SHREE KRISHNA VIRAJMAN
A plea has been filed by the Bhagwan Shri Krishna Virajman in the Court of Civil Judge
Senior Division Mathura against the U.P. Sunni Central Waqf Board and three other
defendants for removal of Masjid Idgah from Shri Krishna Janam Bhoomi. The nature of suit
is for cancellation of decree passed in Civil Suit No.43 (Forty Three) of 1967 (Nineteen Sixty
Seven) by Civil Judge Mathura, declaration, prohibitory and mandatory injunction and for
removal of encroachment from the land in question.
The plaintiff has been described as a minor and a juristic person who has the ability to sue
and to be sued through shebait and in his absence his next friend. The plea even states that
Aurangzeb issued orders for demolition of large number of Hindu religious places and
temples including the temple standing at the birth place of Lord Shree Krishna at Katra
Keshav Dev, Mathura in the year 1669-70 AD. Through the suit, the plaintiffs seeks to ensure
that Dharshan, Pooja, rituals according to Vedic Sanatan Dharma, faith, belief, usages,
traditions and customs guaranteed under Article 25 (Twenty Five) of the Constitution of
India.
